The Summer weekly rental periods start on Saturdays, with check-in at 4pm. (Please
do not arrive earlier) I will meet you at the house,
and take you through each of the rooms, and show you all the many amenities.
After that, I'll leave you to settle in. Please read the information packet in the Living Room, as it will get your week off to a good start. It is requested that you leave the house "as you found it", clean and in order. I have changed a few of the policies, so read on for all the latest scoop!! Pets - Pets are not allowed at the Heritage. It simply became unmanageable with pets being left alone and barking in an unfamiliar surrounding. Ogunquit is a difficult place for dogs to be brought to, because they are not allowed at the beaches, or on the Marginal Way. There are a few local places they can be boarded, and they could be taken to the Park on Agamenticus Mountain, or to one of the beaches in Wells that allows dogs...call or e-mail me for details about boarding, or give yourself a true vacation from it all, including your pet!! Sheets and Towels - I am encouraging guests to either bring their own sheets and towels, or rent them from a local supplier, Cottage Linens I will provide sheets and towels under the condition that ALL sheets and towels are clean and in each room by 10:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. This is can really only be done if the towels are washed and dried the night before, and the sheets started by 6 a.m. If you feel you cannot accomplish this, I would rather you please rent or bring your sheets and towels. Things to Come - I am working on my "list" for 2012 of improvements to the house....finish the backyard gardens and the waterfall...perhaps add an outside shower for rinsing off beach sand, and add a "fun place" to the "office" area... (to replace the Hot Tub if it can't be fixed)......for those of you who were here in 2010 or 2011, I am open to other suggestions... Stay Tuned - Check back on this page for updates... |
